Description
Clarion is the UK’s largest housing association. We serve 360,000 customers and have homes in more than 170 local authorities. Our heritage goes back more than a century and this year we are celebrating 125 years of Clarion.
We are a major home builder and an investor in people and places. Our charitable foundation Clarion Futures, helps people and communities in what is one of the country’s biggest social investment programmes. We’re a business for social purpose, making every penny count and any surplus we make is reinvested in our mission to provide homes for those who need them most. We are building a better future today.
We are now looking for a new Chief Customer Officer to join our executive group. It has never been a more exciting time to join Clarion. We are working hard to build an organisation fit for the future that will set us up to deliver our mission: to provide and maintain homes for those that need them most. In 2023 we embarked on our ‘Connect’ programme which reviewed the way we work, set clear objectives on how to improve our homes and services and meet the evolving needs of our residents. We are tailoring our services to create a valuable and visible frontline service, an efficient and effective repairs service, and house people more quickly.
Our new Chief Customer Officer will spearhead our Connect transformation programme and deliver a service that reflects our value of customer care. We need an exceptional professional who has relevant experience and a background in customer service. You will come with a track record of providing services that deliver excellent customer care. You will have expertise in large consumer-facing businesses, specifically developing services in a multi-channel setting, with an emphasis on providing efficient services that meet the needs and aspirations of our current and future customers.
You will be an integral part of our group executive, embodying a people and customer-focused leadership approach. This role is crucial in providing strategic oversight. Our new Chief Customer Officer will bring an understanding of how to engage effectively with a diverse range of customers to gain insight and ensure the voice of the customer is genuinely embedded into the design of services.
Being part of Clarion is more than just another job. This role offers you a career with a purpose, where you can make a real difference to the lives of others. Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion are part of our DNA and extend beyond our people and the residents we look after. We are keen to attract applicants from backgrounds of the broadest range possible. We place a premium on looking after our people; we are an inclusive workplace where you are free to be yourself and are valued. We know our people are our greatest asset in our mission to provide homes for those who need them most. If you would like to be part of our future, please click apply, or if you would like a confidential discussion with one of our advisors, please call Rosie Gunn on 07964 841007 or Tim Hills on 07393 011 130.
